Tocchet suspension extended to February Courier Post
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman extended the suspension of Rick Tocchet until Feb. 7, 2008, on Thursday, saying Tocchet violated terms of his suspension by continuing his gambling activity and contacting more than 40 people involved in the NHL during his suspension.Tocchet, 43, was charged with financing an illegal gambling ring on Feb. 7, 2006.
