Attention Crown Point Home Owners: M & M Construction has formed an alliance with Temo Sunrooms to help homeowners reduce their energy bill and carbon footprint by taking advantage of the $7500 federal tax credit.
|
M&M Construction has acquired dealer rights to sunrooms, carports, and patio covers that have Solar panels installed by the factory. By having these flexible solar panels installed at the factory, a homeowner will qualify for the 30% tax credit from the federal government as well as a possible state grant.
Temo Sunrooms has added UNI-SOLAR United Solar Ovionic solar strips to their roof panels. The solar panels are flexible, shadow tolerant, and have a higher temperature energy yield than the competitors. Temo is the only sunroom manufacturer that has solar panels attached to their roofing panels. The panels are a direct plug-in to the electric meter. They can operate with as much as 4' of snow on top. The panels are not glass, but a high light-transmissive polymer. This polymer is less reflective than traditional glass, which protects the crystalline solar cells.
The solar panels have the best low light response of any solar cell on the market. Jason Middleborn, owner of M&M construction, gives this example: if a homeowner buys a $25,000 sunroom (prices range from $5000 - $40,000) they will be able to take a $7500 federal tax credit. This allows the homeowner to become more green, reduce their energy bill, and get a sunroom for less money...a win win situation. We all can make a difference in the climate.
