March 15, 2010 (New York, NY) Leah Guy, host of A Girl Named Guy Productions debuts new cooking show featuring healthy living tips and inspirational advice or organic lifestyles that start right in your own kitchen. A company owner into video production in NYC, Host Leah Guy shares her simple tips in the kitchen to make food that is delicious and chock full of prescriptive nutrition. Leah shows how to cook meals, snacks and specialty drinks in a flash using the highest quality real food ingredients. The show targets single parents, large-group cooking and cooking for one for spectacularly quick and nutritious foods with a twist: Low budget cooking with maximum nutritional density.
“As a single woman who has taught herself to cook and bake, I only find joy in bringing a whole new level of health to quick and easy meals,” says Guy. “It’s amazing how simple super-nutritious eating can be, and there is a huge demand of education for learning how to eat' not just eat well, but eat right. On a budget of time and money, organic lifestyles are very possible' I’m a walking example.”
Food Rx airs on http://www.LeahGuy.com and soon in 7 local NorthEast regions. The half-hour format delivers highlight videos with recipes online, in addition to social networking/interactive contributions from fans with recipe samples and product suggestions. “I am in love with food. Always have been. After numerous diets, special weight loss plans, healthy cookbook recipes for over 30 years, I feel confident my low budget, high reward cooking is the system many need to increase vital health. I love to bake for children and show the great taste of healthy treat, or offer simple food plans for those on specialty diets. It’s so easy and fun. No one can live without food, unfortunately, many aren’t thriving in their lives due to malnutrition. Food Rx is just what the doctor ordered.”
Show segments include interviews with famous naturopath doctors, baking sugar-free naturally, gluten-free living, superfood recipes, herbs for healing and more. Food Rx is more than an organic lifestyle, it’s super-charged eating for complete health.
