Macomb, MI -- Surface Encounters in Macomb specializes in manufacturing and installing granite and marble countertops. With a gorgeous showroom and an abundant supply of granite and marble slabs customers often have a difficult time choosing one for their new countertop. “A room full of nature’s beauty can be overwhelming; we help with the selection process so our customers are happy with their new stone countertop,” said Sal Dellacasa, store manager.

Once the slab has been selected, a lot goes into creating the new countertop, from laser measuring to perfect finishing touches. People who tour the showroom will get a look at the amazing high-tech automation process at work.

Sal Dellacasa personally leads tours every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm. There is always someone available to provide tours for walk-ins as well. “Whether there is only one customer or a group, if the store is open, someone is available to handle a tour and help with the selecting and planning of their new kitchen countertops.”

Also included in the presentation are tips on caring for and maintaining a new natural stone countertop to keep it looking new. “Customer service does not stop at the time of installation,” said Dellacasa. “We are happy to answer any questions or concerns that come up even years after installation.”

Surface Encounters’ friendly staff is there to help; each store has at least one registered, professional interior designer available to assist customers in selecting the stone and planning the finished project.
