William Malcolm Luxe Collection Presents the William Malcolm Man of Style Contest Selection Gala

Troy, MI, November 07, 2009 -- At William Malcolm Luxe Collection they believe that style should be of substance. It is for this very reason that they have established the Man of style Contest â€'Michigan Edition. The goal of this inaugural installation of the soon to be annual competition is to highlight, articulate and emphasize the positive contributions of Michigan area men. In tradition of the great automotive heritage of the state of Michigan the men of this state remain driven, hardworking as well as compassionate toward their fellow man.  On Thursday November 12th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. This inaugural annual selection Gala will be held at the Historic Whitney Mansion in mid town Detroit. An estimated five hundred guests will come to witness five men compete for a prize package worth an estimated amount in excess of $25,000 dollars. Highlights of the prize package includes an all inclusive trip for two to Hawaii, a feature in prominent local periodical Ambassador Magazine, a wardrobe that will be designed by William Malcolm, a furniture package from IKEA furniture, autographed sports memorabilia from Curtis Granderson of the Detroit Tigers, custom Ford apparel provided by the Fairlane Ford Dealership of Dearborn , a luxury watch provided by Tappers fine Jewelry, a two day photo shoot by world renowned photographer Shawn Lee of Shawn Lee Studios, several custom art pieces that were commissioned by William Malcolm for the winner from local and national artists as well as several other stylishly sophisticated gifts. On the night of the Gala the entire Whitney Mansion will be converted into an Art exhibit complete with eight individual art galleries, as well as a multi-media gaming room. There will also be a private viewing of the summer /spring collections of celebrity designer Katerina Bocci and William Malcolm. Several of the latest Ford vehicles including the redesigned Ford Taurus will be on display in the Whitney Mansion court yard. All vehicles will be provided by the customer service award winning Fairlane Ford Dealership of Dearborn. Many high profile guests have indicated that they will be in attendance. Curtis Granderson of the Detroit Tigers, fashion Designer Mark England, critically acclaimed fashion photographer Piper Carter as well as couture bridal designer Katerina Bocci.
