Google Voice is opening up to anyone with a cellphone number, not just those willing to force their friends to dial a new Google Voice number. That means every U.S. mobile user can get Google's voicemail transcription, personalized outgoing messages and the ability to save messages forever, even if you change carriers. Oh, and it's free.
