Richmond’s Byrd Theatre with CVAPI

CHESTER, VIRGINIA October 6, 2009 Central Virginia Paranormal Investigations, known as CVAPI, is offering a fundraiser to The Byrd Theatre as a paranormal investigation open to the public. Jackie Tomlin is the founder of CVAPI, a full time psychic under the nickname of Ms-Swami, and a freelance writer for Examiner.com as Richmond’s Psychic & Paranormal Examiner. Jackie took the time to tell me how this fundraiser will work. “It will be Friday night, October 16th, at 11:30PM, $10 per person and payable at the door.” “Proceeds will go directly to the preservation of The Byrd Theatre.” “The Byrd Theatre is one of Virginia’s Historical Landmarks with plenty of ghost stories to share.” “This will allow the public an opportunity to have an on-hands experience of a paranormal investigation.” “Members of CVAPI, will be there to run various groups and to swap people out so they have the full experience.” The Coulter family built the Byrd Theatre in 1928. Originally constructed as one of Virginia’s first sound theatres. At the time, it contained one of the largest pipe organs in town. It still has one of the pipe organs, in which is still played today. “The Byrd Theatre offers some wonderful history in the Richmond area.” “ The rich architecture shows some of that time era.” “Enhanced with their ghost stories, it should be a wonderful experience for all of those that attend.” Jackie has also stated that a lot of their findings on any paranormal investigations appear in their evidence review of audio and video taken that evening.
