Although H1N1 is not a new form of flu, it has been responsible for millions of deaths globally in the last century. Seven people have now died from the disease. - April 28th, 2009 Twenty more people are now infected with swine flu in America, two in the United Kingdom and three in New Zealand. - May 4th, 2009 The world cumulative total of infections breaches the one thousand mark with Austria, Canada, China, Columbia, Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland having new infections. Mexico still tops the list of infected at over 580. The total deaths from the virus now stand at 26 people worldwide.
