Before you give away your too-tight jeans and fashion faux pas, make sure you're actually helping a worthy cause. 'Just because a charity's name is used on the store's marquee doesn't mean the charity gets all the money collected there,' says Bennett Weiner of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance.
