Glass America, a national windshield repair and replacement company, has opened its 94th location in Jamestown, NY. Chicago, December 04, 2008 - Glass America, a national windshield repair and replacement company, has opened a new shop at 512 W. Eighth St. in Jamestown, NY. The grand opening marks the 94th Glass America auto glass shop to open throughout the country. Bob Leonard, manager and installer for Glass America, has worked in the auto glass repair industry for 21 years. Leonard began working in Pittsburgh as an auto glass installer, and then went on to manage auto glass repair shops in Rochester and Youngstown, Ohio. The Post-Journal reported that Steve Centi, city development director, said, ''I think it’s great that they've elected to locate here in the city of Jamestown. It's a business that fits into the area. It was a vacant building, and now it's a viable business. I think it's great. We're happy to be here to help get this going off the ground.''
