ON July 24, a group of armed cops in khaki overalls stormed aboard a fishing vessel anchored near the Roper River, in the Northern Territory's Gulf country. They were paying a visit to some not particularly well-loved characters of the far north who had recently moved across from Queensland to try their luck netting barra in the remote river. Read more!
