The Dakota Fanning of 2008, Abigail Breslin ('Little Miss Sunshine' herself), is part Shirley Temple, part Nancy Drew and part Eleanor Roosevelt in 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl,' the first theatrical feature film inspired by a phenomenally successful line of 'historical' dolls and their 'lifestyle' accessories.
