Britain announces more troops for Afghanistan as dead Paras are flown back home Daily Record
THE number of British troops in Afghanistan will hit a record high by spring next year. Defence Secretary Des Browne announced yesterday that an additional 230 servicemen will be based in the war-torn country, taking the total to 8030.
