In a contest that could net the Vancouver Street Soccer League a $10,000 prize, its president is hoping for an extra-minute, game-winning goal. The league's president Alan Bates, was chosen by the Vancouver Whitecaps' to be their representative in Major League Soccer's 'Community MVP Contest,' — an online poll that will see the winner get $10,000 for their charity.
