I would like to know if there is anytype of medical missions to Darfur, and would love to learn more on how to get involve. However, I believe you need to rethink your approach, choosing the right path. It's as though you are skipping channels. I only say this because I grew up in the policital arena since age 2 coming from a prominent political family. I lived across the street from a federal judge who became my mentor. I have always held a political position with the court. Even after I received my law degree I went back to the court. If you knew what I know, wow.....what a difference you could make. My daughter lost her husband to Pancreattic Cancer 4 years ago. At that time she had 2 children in college Justen was on a football scholarship. Aly had to pickup on her school loans, Tayler the youngest left school after 2 years. She's now trying beauty school and she nor her mother can make the payments. Tayler will be finished in October this year. My daughter called me Monday and told me Tayler was sitting in the parking lot at school crying they wouldn't let her in until she pays $265.oo. Her mother called me and I gave $150.00 which was all I could come up with. My husband and I both 74 and on a disability pension. Finally to my question where can I find help for my grandchild as the two older children were attending school only Tayler was home taking care of her dad and all the things that go with cancer. Tayler's 5'6' weight 225 her doctor gave her a antidepressant, sleeping pill and recommends she see a therapist which called for a MRI. The issue is she nor her mother have money for health insurance Tayler will be dropped from her mother's insurance the 1st week of September, which is a week are so away. I have $3K remaining in my savings for retirement. If you know anyone in Chesterfield, MO that could give me a job to help my daughter. I so need to help them my husband and I live on $24K a year which $752.00/mon meds. & health insurance and we have $695.00 for rent that leaves us very little for food. If you know of anyone in St. Louis, MO if they have contacts in Chesterfield, MO I would appreciate if they would contact me. I can't work a full 40 hrs a/wk but I could work from home are 11:00 to 2:00 giving a receptionist lunch relief. I too have depression, maybe that comes with age I just hurt so much for my daughter and her family. One of the girls wanted to celebrate Bill's life I told her do not invite me.
